Default Men is Pastel colours

Is it just me that hates blokes in pale pink or yellow ? a new neighbour appeared in jeans, a pink shirt, brogues and a jumper around his shoulders, not a look, even with my lack of style that I would ever be seen dead in,

My cousin bought me a pink T-shirt for christmas, bless her.

It did have a hairy gothic skull thing on the front which is emo-tastic....but still.....IT WAS PINK!

Made good polishing cloths though

No it's not just you Jacko, I think there's something a bit creepy about 'blokes' wearing pink

Also, those T shorts with shiny stuff on them, Ed Hardy and others, no bloke should have shiny stuff on their clothes unless the are a 70s Glam Rock tribute or the Cat from Red Dwarf, the only time I have shimmered was when I left my dog walking fleece in the garage and it fell on the floor, right onto the main Slug infested area.

Lol, does your heterosexuality only feel safe when not threatened by such blatantly non macho colours?

I love my tan brogues and I have pink shirts, but not tee shirts... Although I bought the girlfriend a pink tee with a camera print on it and it's too big. I think I'd wear it though.

I have a yellow polo shirt, no pink and certainly wouldn't wear a jumper over my shoulders.

The last time I wore a jumper was at skule - I don't even own one now and if I did, it would never be over the shoulders.
As for the pink shirt - don't have a problem with that, neither the tan brogues.

Every dapper man should have a pair of tan brogues!

These chaps that dress like Jackos chum are always over 50 and tend to also wear Crew clothing and YSL... with tassled loafers or deck shoes in the summer.

The look Jacko was originally referring to is usually what you would see in countries like Italy, as worn by the locals during the summer evenings. Those guys can somehow carry it off..

I wear pink and purple shirts to work occasionally. I don't think there is anything wrong with that.

Sometimes wearing black can be misconstrued...

IMO one has to have certain looks to look good in revoluntionary clothing i.e. pink shirt, jumper over the shoulders, brogues, scarves etc. Regular people with definitive mindset won't have ***** to wear trendy or offbeat clothing. But the balled ones should think whether it suits them if they are overweight and unfit. The superfit ones can also be quite traditional with their choices of clothes i.e. my son. He won't wear a slightly fitted T-shirt with smaller than small sleeves, because to him, they don't look as masculine. The fact is that such men's clothing is made to show off their sculpted chest and well-formed biceps, but hey. Free country. <shrugs> I think that the lad would look reasonable in almost anything apart becoming Russell Brand's, ACDC's or Osbourne's copycat, as he is nothing like them.

Thinking about the other side, even for over 30's and even over 40s, a lot of women like men that can show their romantic side via their pastel coloured clothes. One of the blokes in his 40s at my work wears some pretty cool clothing e.g. lime green shirt and light shades trousers, hats, long coats etc. He looks good and distinctive in such clothes because he can carry it with his peronality and physique. He is a hetero because his GF works at the same place. She is also a retro queen.

Some unsuited-to-funky-clothes-and-style men act like David Beckham and popstars by wearing offbeat clothing and acquiring their style. That's very ridiculous and cheesy IMO. For example, Gorgeous George Clooney only looks gorgeous in smart suits. If he dared to wear funky clothes and jewellery like David Beckham, his new GF would dump him straight away. Same goes for women. Not all women look amazing in belly showing jeans and in Cheryl Cole hair dos.

But I suspect you still look a mong in them though, like everyone else who wears them, my youngest wears saggy arsed, strangely shaped pants as well, just because you are young it doesnt get you off the hook.

I am no example of style but pink shirts just make you look like a private school dad, they all fookin wear them, usually teamed with jeans and a blazer, in the summer its chino shorts and deck shoes, it is very east to end up looking like and M and S mannekin, I am just a scruff really, jeans, t-shirt, no labels.

Nothing wrong with a nice pink shirt and smart brogues (though I don't own a pair of the latter at the moment). The jumper over the shoulders is just a bit too preppy for me though. Saying that I am very handsome and suave and so could pull off most looks.

The look at the moment that really annoys me is men in these weird really tight jeans (sometimes red or green!), that are even tighter at the bottom and sometimes even elasticated! This is often worn with horrible cheap looking canvas trainers. Most the men who wear this look have really skinny legs and it looks gheyer than ghey.

And they all seem to have the same Justin Beiber type haircut, don't these ******* ever look in the mirror and see what a **** is looking back at them??

You have the looks and the fitness for any style, my friend. You look good in boring traditional clothes as well. I have seen your wedding pics. Your wife is lovely, too.
