Default RC drift cars

After having a search about fit rc cars

I'm liking the lOok of the RC drifters

Does anyone have one ?

I'm looking at the s15 full carbon chassis and brushless motor

It looks like quite a big following

In Japan yes, over here no. They look like fun but I should imagine it'll get boring quickly on your own. They're also a bit pricey for what they are really. There's only one distributor in the UK for Yokomo RC drift cars too.

IMO, don't buy a new car - all this carbon stuff doesn't really come into it until you feel like the car is slowing you down.

I've never done drifting but I know a few people who do. One good think about it is with a few traffic cones you can make a short course. Much smaller than a round and round track.

I would look for a Tamiya TT01 on ebay. If it hasn't got a locked rear diff put blutak in the rear diff to lock it up. Get some hard drift wheels/tyres and go have a try.

I wouldn't bother buying new at first and wouldn't bother buying anything too expensive. TT01s are cheap as chip - £40 for a new kit I've seen on ebay and have lots of spares/hop ups.

Ended up buying a

2010 HPI Sprint 2
