Top Gear - India Special
On now on BBC2. Pretty poor so far. Not convinced they're even enjoying it all that much now.
What are your thoughts?

iPlayer! It'll no doubt be repeated later in the week as well.

iplayer: sigh, do I have to resort to ultra low resolution blocky compressed crap with audio no better than a badly ripped mp3?
Just what I bought a 1080p HD TV for
I've have to fire up bittorent and get the full fat version on finalgear....

I quite liked it. The cars just kept going and didn't fall to bits as usual, then making a "miraculous" recovery and the presenters claiming they'd fixed it themselves.
I also quite liked the modifications they made as they crossed the himalayas
astraboy.

I haven't driven in India, but I have been driven, and can honestly say it was the most terrifying experience of my life
I wouldn't have missed it for the world though, India is an astonishing country of unimaginable variety

The last twenty minutes were fantastic - the scenery was amazing and the Straight Six Cricket seemed like a genuine bit of fun - Indians I know would have absolutely joined in that.

Vaguely funny, but I can honestly say I've watched episodes of fifth gear that I have enjoyed more. Just a program for children now IMO...

That was the biggest pile of cack I've seen for ages. I turned over after an hour an never even raised a smile. Top gear has had it's day with these sort of so called special one offs

It was ok, nothing more. Worst 'road-trip' so far for me. Nothing really seemed to happen.
