Not sure what you mean by long time, about 9 months or so yes. In my humble opinion buying something purely based on the fact that it's cheaper than it has been for a period of time can be a very expensive mistake.
Can't give an opinion at the moment whether its a good time to buy on other grounds though. I'm going to continue to hold my gold and silver for now
