Much more of a fashion watch, don't think they use the best mechanisms. Do some nice watches though, get them a fair bit cheaper out in the states as I found when i was out there last

The first one is awful...Why would you even contemplate spending over £50 on a quartz watch is beyond me..
The TW steel looks better, but see above..
Just to let you know,Renault main dealers had a special offer on before christmas(not sure if its still running),they were selling TW steel chrono's for £60...

Ive had a TW Steel for a couple of years and for the money it is a decent watch. Unless you are going to start getting into the thousands they are pretty good on build quality and look good IMO.

Never heard of this make but there are some nice looking watches there, bought an automatic tissot, big chunky thing and around £570, really good quality and weight to it for the money, been looking at the grand carreras but the bracelet seems quite light and Just don't seem that strong.
Does anywhere stock the watches in the link so you can see them in the metal?

I very nearly bought a Flieger with the mechaquartz movement about 18 months ago,i got the guy to £1200 but backed out at the last minute..

As to link, don't think there are stockists but you have about two months to decide if you like then can send it back if you don't
Only reason I harp on about them is the chap who owns it wanted to take on the big swiss boys saying you could get Rolex etc quality for a proper/real price and that is the mission.Reviews are good too!
I just like the watches
Power..Red or Charcoal looks good!

Well he isnt coming back here, although you may well have talked to him elsewhere...
As a watch enthusiast myself it wasnt difficult to spot him on another forum.
With regards to reasonable watches for modest sums, Id look at the Tissot Visodate myself. I havent ever felt any enthusuiasm for CW or Werners, quite the opposite in fact; but you cant fault an automatic Swiss watch with a strong heritage for about £300.
