I bought my wife a Nikon s3100 yesterday for Christmas. Found a deal in Sainsbury's of all places for the camera, 4Gb SD card and camera case which was marked as £85.99

When I took it to the counter to pay for it, the price charged was £79.99.

I had a play with it this morning before my wife got up - it is a great little camera. She wanted something small and light that she can carry about when she takes the kids out. It will keep her, and the kids fingerprints off my DSLR. If you register it with Nikon within 30 days of purchase, they offer a further 12 months warranty.

Ticks all the boxes, small enough to fit in a pocket, easy to use, take short video clips as well as photos.

Panasonic FS 16 at Argos - just reduced yesterday to £69.99. Bought one to replace our Ixus 130 that was nicked 2 weeks ago.
