What shall I get the missus for Xmas?
I am torn here, I have 3 options.
1/ A selection of little gifts (more to open)
2/ A watch, but I got her one last Xmas too, but know she likes this one..

3/ Or a drum kit? She has been banging on (no pun intended) about wanting to learn to play the drums for months now, and I think it would be quite a funny gift.
I dont usually buy into the whole Xmas thing, so dont do gifts etc, but its times like this that she actually tells me what she would like. I prefer to buy gifts all year round when the mood takes.

I think the drum kit would be cool but it depends if you have an area where it won't be too noisy..
Play a trick on her,say i got you those drums you wanted and give her these.

When it comes to girls its best to stick with traditional gifts as you can't go wrong that way.
Oven gloves, ironing board, rubber gloves and washing up liquid gift set, 5 pack of hoover bags, window cleaner and a pack of cleaning cloths.
Hope ive given you a few ideas and some inspiration, don't spoil her with chocolates, expensive jewellery and perfume, she'll just think that your trying to be flash.....

If I do get them I will just get her some drumsticks to open on the day and say I will save for the rest

I am looking at them now. While they would be fun, I dont think you can beat the look of a full drum kit,.

Aaaah I dont have time for that pikey lol.
I think I might have found myself a happy medium. A starter drum kit consisting of a few drums and bits, then I can still get other things too.
Its all only ideas at the mo, so no budget set lol, but it wont be reaching a grand. No new Dyson for her yet!
I will see what I think by the end of the day

I'd go for the watch, but that's more of a traditional xmas present. Depends what your other half is like really!
She's said about wanting to start playing drums, but is it something she'd like for christmas? Only you'll know.

I'm sure this one would go down well as a stocking filler!
