Get her a pair of slippers and a *****. If she doesn't like the slippers, she can go f*ck herself!

Ns04 - happy now he's had the chance to make the only seasonal joke he knows!

Well, I pick the drumkit up on Saturday, and am now in the process of getting as many stupid hint gifts as possible.
Might get her something nice....................... might not lol

Do that, Snazy. Care begets care. Drum kit can be a star gift for her. Other little things can be hint gifts, and one can be a fancy gift e.g. perfume, jewellery or a designer toaster.
Get something for yourself as well (while you are at it). I recommend a good pair of ear defenders.

Just a cheap little starter thing, 5 drums, 2 clashy noisy things, and some wooden things to beat them all with
Has this thread been 'cleaned up'? I LOL'd at the pic of the cordless drill someone put up earlier.
Edited to say - no, still there on page one
. Thought it was page 2 I'd seen it on.

That's not a very nice thing to say.
I play some Indian drums called Dholak and Chang. I also play Tabla and Harmonium. My female kid plays guitar. I am just a mediocre one, but a few female friends of mine are very good instrumentalists, you know. One of them is a clarinet player, one of them plays flute, another one harps on, and another one is a violinist. One of them even play drums on her husband's bald head.

LOL I am not one of those pedantic or ostentatious ones. I was joking, and I mean it. Easy.

I do love cute girls who play classical instruments in orchestras - I perceive them as 'uptight' posh totty. Gives me a raging hard-on sometimes LOL.
But electric guitars, drums, et al - e.g. in a pop group - I don't like 'em. It's all wrong in my book.
Sorry, but that's just the way I roll.

I had these from my brother-in-law at our 'first' Christmas:
