Batten down the hatches
Thought i would share a picture of the Ekofisk platform during the recent storms. The walk way you see would probably be around 80ft from normal sea level. pretty scary!

They do sway about a bit, i work on the semi-subs (floaters) and you would be puking in a bucket in that weather

I work for Schlumberger running Subsea equipment so i end up on loads rigs all over the place. Mostly rusty pieces of Sh*t

Is this a pic you took yourself ?
Amazing picture though and just a tad scary maybe lol. Would love to experience a storm like that though.

Never took it myself a mate at work sent it to me. Been offshore a few times during storms like that, your not allowed out due to the fact you might fall overboard. It's great, feet up all day, only problem is rolling out the top bunk when your sleeping ha ha

Im out on a floater at the moment, sea state is still quite bumpy but calmed down since last week, we have had a few BIG hits and you really feel it.
