Pandora bracelet and charms - where to buy
Jenny has hinted she would like one of these for Christmas. I have looked on the net, even Amazon has mixed reviews (genuine item or not). Rather than traipse all over MK/Northampton i would prefer to buy over the net but only if it is the real deal.
Any thoughts?

John Greed. Not sure how competitive they are on price but they had the charms someone wanted, and the service, (on several occasions), has been without fault. http://www.johngreedjewellery.com/en.../icat/pandora/

If you still wear chunky cords then yes, it is current, otherwise it has been available for many years. You probably don't have a clue about buying it because from your previous comment you clearly don't have much of a grasp on what is going on.

I cant help but laugh at the stupid 'chav' comments.
Paul, the best place will be a Pandora shop. Nowhere selling genuine kit will be cheaper and the Pandora shop will wrap and include polishing cloths etc (I conferred with Emma here ). I thought that they were everywhere - there are two in Meadowhall, within fifty metres of each other! At this time of year Id expect them to have queues out of the door, so theyll be hard to miss(as well as get in to!), buy theyll have stock...

Like a few have said, a pandora shop is the best place, or a reputable jewelers.
I don't wear mine anymore, as they were soon ruined when the imitation or pandora 'style' bracelets all started to appear at 1/10 of the price
For me, mine is special because it was bought while on our big family holiday last year when my dad was still alive. So it's a nice reminder, as the luggage charm was bought by him.
I'm not overly fussed on 'fashion jewelry' and mine is the black leather (double) bracelet so it was just a more modern type of bracelet that I would have worn casually.
Sadly it doesn't sit well with everyday as I have the large glass beads on there, and it's not quite dressy enough.

Marketing Coup that is, its like the Panini Sticker books, once you have them hooked they keep coming back for more, release lots of one type and limit others so people "collect" them, never understood collecting something controlled totally by one commercial entity but if it makes people happy and keeps the economy going then why not, even a cynical old misanthrope like me can see the appeal if you are a girl and stuff.

My wife is on first name terms with the staff at our local Pandora emporium (Trafford Centre urrgh). I dont mind, because a few of them are quite hot but every time she goes in there it goes from "I will just get one charm" to prob 5 or 6. She currently has 3 bracelets which are almost full.
That said, it gives me a great excuse to call into Game just down the row and get a new xbox game or 2...
There is a new place in the TC selling silver stuff, similar to pandora but more sparkeley (sic?) and she was in there like a shot last time we were there.

She tends to get discounts - so waits till there is an offer on and then go and buy some. One offer was spend a certain amount and get a free bracelet. She ended up with 2 bracelets FOC, gave one to her mum as a birthday present and kept the other. Last time it was a free jewellery box. Its a great business idea, keeps customers going back. The latest thing she is into is "time beads" which is a little watch that goes on the bracelet. Dont see the appeal myself but she enjoys it so thats the main thing.

Does no-one else think these are HUGELY overpriced?
It baffles me that people can go & blow £500 - £600 on a bracelet with 4 glass beads on it
Yet they queue out the door.....
(don's flamesuit ready.....)

Thankfully the wife doesn't like yellow gold so all hers are silver, much better
