British policing demonstrated at it's world class best.

That cyclist is like thrush; nevertheless right from the off PC Stouts behaviour was appalling.

This has been on here before.

The utter bell end of a cyclist runs a red light and then we get a perfect demonstration of why cyclists need licensing to be on the road as the policeman is powerless to prosecute him as he has no documents, no licence, no insurance, no nothing!

The fact that he then proudly puts this video up on YT expecting us all to think how f**king clever he is boils my p1ss!

Anyway the next time he runs a red light he may just find out the hard way why it is a f**king stupid thing to do!!!!

That may all be true - still does not excuse PC Stouts behaviour.

He didn't know the law, his opening gambit was smart alec at best, he built no rapport, overall 1/10 for policing quality.

Two wrongs do not make a right. Yes it was bad policing, but guy is a moron of the first degree and thinks he is above the law.

This seems to be the case, the important thing is not to moan if you get hit by another vehicle and take full responsibility for your actions and pay your own medical bills, etc instead of relying on the state to cover your stupidity

I get BUPA, so no probs there. The NHS have not had to fork out for my recent motocross related injuries.

A shame fat people and addicts don't have some sort of medical cover.

I'll leave the critical bike debate to you lot, it's out of my league, what I do want to say is that this video really cheers me up.

Despite the policeman's initial attitude, the cyclist is a right prat and was behaving in an unreasonable matter, ie. being a complete smartarse.

The public should respect the police and accept what they are asked to do unless it is totally unreasonable, which it was not in this case. I think the copper was acting very fairly under the circumstances and it was a pity that he was unable to get some kind of backup in order to arrest the cyclist as he richly deserved. Jumping a red light is dangerous, not only to him and is unacceptable.

In the Services the cyclist would have been marked up as a "Barrack Room Lawyer" and he would have got short shrift for certain.

Pretty sure you will find that BUPA do not run an accident and emergency service so you would be a burden to the NHS for your emergency care if stupid enough to (hypothetically) run a red light. Are you saying that if you (again hypothetically) cut off your arm your first thought would be to call call BUPA and not 999

Whilst it might **** me off I'd rather be that way than find d1ckhead cyclists running red lights and posting their gobbing off about it on YT a good thing the way you obviously do!

Copper was less than professional, didn't know his stuff but the cyclist was an utter knobber, I doubt the copper stopped him for his excellent cycling, he stopped him because he ran a red light and then the cyclist decides to get on his high horse, he was more articulate than the copper but most I have met would have shut him down pretty quickly with a few choice words and by knowing their PACE procedures, the cyclist wouldn't have known any different if he had made something up like "I am arresting you under section 69 of BARB act", where BARB stands for Belligerent ***** Riding Bikes act.

I would urge drivers to not think everybody on bikes condones or participates int hat kind of attitude or behaviour, this **** does nothing for cyclists by posting his video, replete with sanctimonious comments at the end. I dont hope he goes under a bus, I hope he nearly goes under a Bus, lives to tell the tale and realises what a **** he is.

Both pratts in my eyes, cyclist for been a know it all and the police person for knowing FA and expecting everyone to cower to him. Both probably bullied at school.

I post them as it winds people 'like you' up

Interestingly I can see him being exactly the sort of person you would ask to get you off a speeding fine on a technicallity.

My first thought would be to get a referal to a specialist!

I did this recently with my fractured femur. Never even bothered with the NHS.

So, under no circumstances would you ever be admitted to A&E instead you would contact your GP and await a referral. Smart move
