If you want people to wave get one of those mobile home things.
You even get pedestrians (who must be mobile home owners) waving at you.

When I bought my Scooby my mate who had a Scooby told me "don't forget to wave at other Scooby drivers unless they don't have a scoop on the bonnet, don't wave at those losers"
His words not mine

My brother's wife has a Honda S2000, they do the wave. She also used to leave S2K club/ website cards under the wipers if she saw one parked up.

Ive noticed that motorbike riders tend to give a flash of their lights to each other.
Bus drivers and lorry drivers driving for the same company tend to give waves.
Can't think of any cars though apart from subarus which Ive noticed
..probably the rarer models of the focus such as an RS which I imagine would wave

Yep, us bikers are a friendly lot. Don't wave at us if you're on a scooter though ...

Can someone tell me why motorbike riders always tilt their heads to the right to say hello?

A quick 'nod' doesn't get noticed is why. Though to be honest I've never heard/seen any do that (in 34 years on a bike). Just a more noticeable 'nod' or a wave. In France they stick out their left leg to say 'hello' ..... Threw me the first time I rode over there ...

Because on a bike a downwards nod leaves you staring at the tank.

Also a quick nod is far safer than taking one hand off the handlebars.

My dad always got a wave from people who also owned a BSA three wheeler
Bikers nearly always acknowledge each other with a nod or a tilt since we are all members of the "brotherhood".
