Default Winter Tyres

Evening all

Just been thinking about the winter to come, especially as i spend a lot of time working in the Welsh Valleys.
With winter tyres if you have a front wheel drive car is just worth getting some for the front or all round?.

I expect if i get some the winter will be the mildest in years but doesnt hurt to be prepared, got snow chains already and ironically used them more in the uk than in the alps.

Autocar did a test on some recently if it's of use. Running Nokian WR G2s myself... great winter tyre for UK conditions.

A car fitted with both winter and summer tyres will have more spin than the labour party. There's videos on youcheb showing what happens, if you can find it..
