miami vice- power boat video
stumbled across this on youtube.i liked the song first (russ ballad "voices")before hearing it on miami vice.the power boat vid is so cool.

Couldn't agree more, I was 5 years old when the 80's arrived and at the time I didn't like it much and didn't appreciate it but I think that's where we peaked. The future looked bright in the 80's and everything was on the up, only in 90's did we realise we couldn't sustain it and everything was going to go **** up. I wish I was in my 20's/30's in the late 70's and 80's.

I'm trying to re-live it now and I've been watching Miami vice on DVD recently because I was too young to appreciate it first time around It seems funny that I was playing vice city on the playstation before I watched Miami vice and boy did they put some work into the game! I'm doing it the wrong way around 
I'm catching up but I'm quite a few years behind 
I'm envious of people older than me here!

Ah ... Crockett's theme. Brings back shameful memories of straw soled shoes with no socks and pastel jackets I used to wear. Amazing I ever got married really

Why was Crockett's gun twice as loud as everybody elses?
Some great cameos in the series, it was the series to be seen in. I particularly enjoyed the sub-plot where he lost his marbles and took on his undercover persona

Wow!!! That brought back memories!! Used to be one of my favorite programs. I always wanted a boat like that lol!!! Did eventually build one from a downsized racing boat that my uncle started to build and never finished, he gave aus the hull eventually. Had it for about 11 years before we sold it.
