Which Aeroplane would you bring back into full service?
Hypothetically,
money no object, and all airworthiness servicing etc is covered, which aeroplane would you like to see brought back into service?
Some suggestions below, or add your own

Simples. Concorde.
Should NEVER have taken it out of commission (rose-tinted specs), although I understand why - designed for the pre-internet rich & famous and proven not to work in a financially-crippled world.
Reduce the prices (surely in the years of service, it must have paid off the R&D costs) and make it more for the Joe Public.......
Either concorde or the SR71

I read the title and thought I don't care what's on the list it has to be Concorde.
For so many reasons least of all that my father was in the engineering team that developed the Olympus engine for the aircraft and having worked at the end of the runway at LHR for years I had the privilege to witness that amazing piece of engineering tearing over your head whilst my internal organs vibrated to the noise of those engines, seeing the rings on the reheat at night as well the superb sound it made as it came into land, had to be Concorde.
Then I saw SR-71, My Dad worked at RAE Farnborough for a few years which always got us into the airshow or just watched from the RAE, when you see and hear that take off as a 7 year old it stays with you and I'm yet to see a more impressive aeroplane.
So I abstain
From A stopover in IAD a few years ago, best museum ever!

Loving all the suggestions and much as I love Concorde for itself and all it stood for it is a bit too obvious for me, I kind of like Mundane things, so was thinking,
Soft spot for the old Tri Star, first plane I ever went on.
Then the stumpy Jumbo, the 747 SP, not sure why it just pushes my buttons.
How about a Trident, perhaps as I remember these as a kid, they seemed impossibly glamorous and exciting.
The BAC 1-11, single handedly this plane was responsible for more Sangria Bottles and Straw Donkeys entering the UK than any other airliner, screaming engines, black vapour trail and feeling of impending doom came as standard,

Harrier.....as I can park that in my back garden
OK I'm being a cheapskapte as I can still buy a working one from the yanks
Failing that - Concorde; At leastthere's space inside it to fit it out and have a party inside ( Iron Maiden's next tour plane? ).
I'm with Jacko about the Trident....I'd also like to see a Comet flying again, And hell, why not some VC10s (whilst some are still airworthy). Its ironic that in the British Airways adverts they show the most iconic planes theyve had in their past fleet.....yet none of their current fleet are really noteworthy or special (maybe a A380...when they eventually get it delivered )

English Electric Lightning
PS; Several recommended for the others list do not qualify
Several DC-3s and L-1011 TriStars, and, believe it or not, BAC 1-11s remain in revenue earning service.
The RAF still operates TriStars, at least six air forces still operate F-4 Phantoms, and the USMC, the Spanish, Italian and Indian Navies, and the Thai air force still operate Harriers
