Alarm bells immediately with no tracking number. Start the dispute process now. Wont harm things if it arrives on Thursday.

Ok, cool, cheers.
Thats what i was thinking but i was wondering if i was being a bit impatient with the guy.
I've asked so many times for a bloody tracking number, just to get told he'll let me know. I doubt he even posted it

Common sense with any of this stuff, always always check their reputation on eBay. Look at the last 5/10 recent feedback comments and check the items bought/sold and the date of the feedback.

From that you can tell a lot about a seller or buyer.

Unfortunately you can't tell anything about a buyer from feedback anymore, ebay doesn't allow you to leave neg feedback for buyers, the system is completely broken now

Also, his feedback wasnt too bad, it seems he got a lot of bad feedback from parts when breaking the car i got the exhaust from! So a lot of the negative feedback has come since i bought the exhaust!
Anyway, dispute has been opened, & if it arrives tomorrow i'll cancel it, but i'm not expecting it to...

Right, i just got a message on eBay from the seller concerned with this, i got a tracking number and it would appear he genuinely did post it, and it will be delivered tomorrow.
Just an extremely slow courier!
It would appear the buyer of the other item he received bad feedback for apparently didn't pay & expected it to be sent anyway.. Not sure what thats all about but my exhaust should arrive tomorrow, i'll let you all know

Ebay is a waste of time and money these days. I use dto make a good chunk of money selling stuff on there, especially all my childrens old baby stuff, practically brand new and would sell like hotcakes!
Now people all want something for nothing. Amy excuse to moan and people do, its a shame really as used to love using it. I have been lucky that I havent had any problems with buyers other than a few people moaning when things (baby clothes) didnt look the exact same colour as in the picture

Glad its all sorted now for you at least.

Hysteria, i completely agree, but usually i get on ok on there with buying stuff, but selling is a different matter..
& yes, it did arrive on time as promised, it really wasn't the sellers fault & just a crap courier. I'll edit the first post to delete the guys eBay name as i don't want to bad mouth someone who has done nothing wrong, even though its unlikely anyone would read it now!
