Why use music as a ringtone?
I dont get it... Why would you want to use your favourite latest tune as a ringtone for you phone. Clearly by liking it, you want to listen to it.
I thought the idea of a ringtone was to alert you to the fact the phone was ringing, so you can answer it BEFORE it goes to voicemail.

Always have mine on silent.
I hate it, sitting on a train and someone's phone kicks into life with an Oasis song or whatever and they sit there looking at it....I feel like screaming 'FFS will you answer that!!!'

Best one I've ever seen, I was on a train to Milton Keynes and the carraige was fairly quiet, all of a sudden the guys phone opposite me starts ringing.......his ring tone was Dancing Queen by Abba..........I reckon he'd meant to turn it to silent as he was all flustered and fumbling around trying to get the phone out of his jacket pocket while the entire carraige were p1ssing themselves!!

We were in a meeting and one of my colleagues (Mexican btw) had a mariachi band playing as his ringtone.
We were in stitches!
I have a phone ring. I'm the most individual person ever

lol @ the stories! Oh dear, a great reason not to have 'fancy' ringtones lol.
The thing that irritates me is when someone has an outlandish ringtone and the phone rings, they pick it up, dont want to answer, so place the phone back down... At least press silence?
I have very short and basic notifications for various messages etc, cant be doing with long winded things lol

I used to have a bog standard ring ring tone but when ever I heard the tone it seemed half a dozen people were all checking their phones as well.
I know have musicto personalise it, I tend to change it quite frequently too as I have an excellent app for free ring tones and message tones

Catchy and musical enough to start with. You'd want to get to it before the vocal though. A mate said it gave his o/h a bit of a start when she didn't reach his phone in time.

I like listening to other people's ringtones, especially if it's something you wouldn't have thought they'd be into IYKWIM.
Mine used to be the theme tune to the Addams Family, amazing how many strangers couldn't resist clicking their fingers when it went off
