IMDB scores would seem to provide a contrarty perspective where, far from being the best film ever made, a score of 6.0 generally means mediocre but not unwatchable!

Trout, you have the stats skewed, it is fundamentally such a stupid film it's fantastic to watch.

A 6.0 on the IMDB is generally a good score.

I haven't seen major blockbusters get above 8.0.

That's because major blockbusters aren't usually all that good

They're commissioned by accountants, and made by 'safe pairs of hands' to appeal to the widest possible audience and generate maximum income

Name the last truly great major studio release

cant beat the trilogy of evil dead they were all good, first one was the best and was more serious the other two were just funny as **** as for the people under the stairs i have this some where but from what i remember im sure it was pants... maybe i better dig it out and have a watch again!

jton change your avatar I hate the clown from IT, scared me to death when I saw it when I was about 6 or 7, I didn't go into the bathroom for a week afterwards! Anyway back on topic the people under the stairs is a great movie, might have to see if i can find it cheap somewhere

lol one of the very first horror films i saw when i was about 9 or 10 and loved it always been a big horror fan tho, as for the avatar its not like you gotta see it everyday
