This is my lad's band with a female singer they know. I am biased of course but I really like it and think the male/female link works very well. Also nice bluesy riff from my lad near the end, nice tone.

I think they made it their own.
They smashed it.
They've obviously been on a journey.
They'll definitely get a record contract.
They nailed it but we haven't heard the best of them yet and they have a lot more to give.
They're one step closer to achieving their dream.
It's not good news i'm afraid.......................it's great news: They're through to the next round.
It's a billion % yes from me.
It's 4 yesses.
Genuinely liked that. Works really well but at the risk of sounding like an X factor judge. The girl singer should sing it in her own style rather than trying to sound like a carbon copy of Christina Perri.

Thanks guys - I read your comments with much interest. I don't think I would disagree strongly with any of them. Because of my links to the band I won't criticize the feeling about Orla, the female vocalist. However I think Andy the singer has a super voice and the backing by the band is as good as the original version IMHO.
Mr Duk - James, my boy, is the guitarist with long hair playing near the end of the song.
Thanks again guys. David

Nice matey! .... loadsa talent going on there!
She has got a good voice, definately ... but theres some bits at the beggining where her transitions sound like theyre processed with an autotune .... im guessing thats just a testiment to her vocal skills though, so probably not a bad thing!
Im only ever a fan of covers when the band try to give the song its own spin and make it theyre own, and personally i think this would be alot more successful if they just used the blokes voice and really let him give it some beans as the song builds.
Just my £0.02.
.... just noticed your in mere .... i grew up in maiden bradley and went to school there .... small world! The surname Lock rings a bell too!
