yeah was watching it at work and does not look good at all, helemt went flying off across the grass and he lay motionless in the midlle of the track, race been cancelled

Looking at the footage I suspect he died at the track and they have spent the last half-hour to see if they could revive him.
It also fits with the race being cancelled so quickly.

The only reason a race is cancelled is either bad weather or a death on circuit. If he was alive and taken away for treatment, the race would have continued.
