Default Military jet fans I need your help

I just got overflown but something interesting but didn't get a good look at it as I couldn't get teh camera or binoculars quick enough.

Looked like this in back profile, bit with a slimmer fusalage. Any ideas? Given where I live, its going to be British or USA (if current service)

Cheers
Simon

Shaun, thats the pic I nicked as it was closest, but the 1 I saw had a fighter style fusalage.

Crisp. Shuttleworth, so get overflown by a lot of classics, as well as Duxford trsffic and Mildenhall / Lakenheath traffic.

If it was looking a bit "ominous" it could have been a Sentinel..

None of the pics match. The engines are in the wrong place, they were mounted on the wings like the 390. 1 Engine underslung on each wing.

So, high wing, turbofans on the wings and "small" or fighter sized.

This is my closest match.

Guys, I grew up between RAF Cosford and Shawbury and spent many a holiday in Norfolk, so know most modern stuff on sight and it wasn't anything I recognise.

What your looking for is this, but with a T tail and under slung engines.

Strange, 2 planes took off from Hurn (Bournemouth) this morning which looked fairly similar to those pictured in the first few posts... possibly a little smaller though. They certainly didnt hang about and made a right racket. They were light grey in colour and unmarked.

2 engines Bob, 1 under each wing. Jet, and they screamed almost vampire sound. To far to see colour and markings. Everything at that distance just turns to grey!

To say size, slightly larger than a Tornado.
