private plate buying / selling ??
Guys have a private plate on my car just now that I would like to sell , now slightly confused regards the process ?? okay dont want to just go back to the cars original plate so would possibly be buying another private plate first ready to be transfered to my car.
1/ if removing the plate from my car and selling what costs do I need to pay so its ready to sell to a buyer or via one off the reg selling sites ??
some plates are advertised as buyer patys costs - what would that involve ??
2/ obviously dont want to be without the car at anytime so not sure what the best way would be to go about things - sell my own one first and have to buy another one straight away- what about the papwerwork inbetween ??
been offered a price off £400 for it upon a sale via Regtransfers, worth asking a bit more from them ??

Firstly have you been offered 400.00 or have they valued it at that figure?
their valuation and what someone will pay can be two different things and it can take time to sell. Few places buy a plate on the off chance it may sell but will advertise it and take a fee/commission for selling.

As I say would go ahead but was not sure how much it would cost me to take it off the car ?
And yep well aware nunber plate valuations in the real world can be very different to what they are offered at !!
