Bosch drill (taking apart)
I have A bosch gbh 36vf-li sds drill, and I have broke the forward and reverse switch .
How easy is It to take the drill apart just to change the part. I've sourced a switch for £1.02

I have a non-SDS Bosch drill and have taken it apart several times. Basically, you have remove all the screws you can see on one side - some down deepish holes - plus, I think, the black grip on the handle. See ... http://www.axminster.co.uk/downloads/212226_manual.pdf ... page 5 for what I mean.
And be careful when separating the two halves as there could be springs etc that go 'ping' ....

As above. DO NOT work over a carpet, nor anywhere near a large appliance like a fridge, cooker, washer, or any parts you drop will immediately be affected by "Fridge Suck," a mysterious force that sucks the little part you drop right underneath the nearest large immovable object.
Seriously, it is easy, just take it slow, do it on a clean garage floor so any bits that drop are identifiable, and take careful note of what is where when you open it: I tend to take a quick pic on the phone. It CAN come in VERY handy if bits get dislodged
