Points over the years
I just wondered what points you have had since passing your test
6 Careless Driving ( two weeks after passing, a wet road and sharp bend = head on collision )
3 Speeding ( 38 in a 30 )
6 No insurance ( Ex wife paid insurance (or not as the case may be) final nail in the coffin for us)
3 Speeding (34 in a 30 )
3 Speeding (42 in a 30 )
Had a clean license for about ten years now

I have had 3 points in ten years. my missus on the other hand got confused when brucie said points mean prizes . better not say how many or she will kill me but the judges tend to take a dim view of thundering down the road dragging a set of temporary traffic lights behind you.

SP30 77 in a 60, 3 points £60 fine (gone now)
TS20 a bit unfortunate with this one but I was guilty. 3 points £60 fine.
SP50 103.9 in a 70, 14 day ban (due to the 6 points above) £260 fine.

6pts for letting the insurance lapse on an engineless car when I was 19
6pts for 2 SP30s in my late 20s
Then a clean licence for ten years until 6 months ago, now I have another 6
4 for telling an off duty plod that he was driving like a tw@t, and an extra 2 for having the nerve to accuse the **** of being a liar in a magistrates court

Is that the last time you drove then Les ...
Mine's been clean for a few years but have had several for speeding over the years. Usually only had 3 points on the license at one time. Had a TS50 (I think it was) for "jumping a red light" when I was couriering on a motorbike in London. Had the photo but couldn't remember the incident. It was one of those 'it's changing but I'm too close to stop' type events. The red light camera took a different view on the matter .....

It was around the time of my track racing career!
I did make up for it during my earlier 'bike riding exploits though!
