Leukocytosis- Anyone had a high white blood cell count?
Its probably nothing, and I understand how and why the body usually produces white blood cells to fight infections and diseases, but I just wondered if anyone on here has ever had an elevated count and what the cause was?
Had a few health issues over the past few weeks including fatigue, high temperature, muscle cramps, loss of appetite, and stomach pains. Now joined by slight difficulty breathing, quite shallow.

Based on your life events recently I'd put my life savings on all your symptoms (as weird as they may appear to you) being anxiety related.
Obviously best to get things checked properly but pretty certain they'll all be related.

In the meantime I have cut out any new medications, minimised the changes in diet, kept up fluid intake, and doing as much as I can to normalise things.
Feel less stressed and anxious these days than I have for a long time now, but the issue persists. Time will tell (or maybe it wont)

Not white but red and platelets for me. I seem to have an over abundance of both hence me giving a double dose of platelets every 4 weeks. I like to give something back to the community.

Glad you have a positive answer Snazy. Happened to me years ago. As Sipie said, it could well be down to the pressure you have been experiencing for so long. That was what they said in my case.
Just relax as best you can and it should all go away eventually.

Relax, what a pleasure that would be lol..
Amazingly, one of the 2 people responsible for a lot of the recent stress started "showing signs" of glandular fever as soon as he found out he had it.
