I agree.
Also ,nearly every week now I hear about trains being cancelled & delayed because the power cables or signal cables have been nicked causing huge disruption & mayhem to everyone trying to get to work.
Surely this is not just theft as it is disabling the infrastructure of the countries transport network & should be treated as terrorism or sabotage.

Carrying a knife in a public place should mean instant jail time - this government said they would prosecute anyone caught with a knife - they lied!

scum, but what do you expect from such a nanny state, all those years of you can hit children and teach discapline has come back to bite us in the butt, the scum running round now are second generation with no regard for anyone else, thing is the people they abuse often pay there benefits!!!

Long past time when we should go back to the old style of punishing people in a style which honestly reflects the seriousness of the crime. It used to work alright then!
All this PC plonking attitude that it is not really the criminal's fault for the shameful actions which appear these days cuts no ice whatsoever and the pansy attitude of the judiciary is dragging this country down to a Mad Max society when the gangs will rule and any kind of an effective society will be just a memory.
People who are prepared to commit such crimes have no idea of any kind of decent behaviour even though they know perfectly well the difference between right and wrong.
The only way is to grasp hold of the problem by the neck and dole out the sort of real punishment that they don't want to experience again. Never expect them to change into a decent human being with soft soap attempts at rehabilitation. It just won't work.

in all seriousness watched this vid earlier today all he asked them to do was leave some poor old dear and a single mum alone. and fair play to him he said it wouldnt stop him doing it again
