Default Anyone live near Uckfield, East Sussex. (Hamilton Palace)

Does anyone know of this building, for a while it has fascinated me. Started, but unfinished. It was destined to be the largest house built in the 20th century.

Any information would be appreciated.

It's been at least ten years since I lived in that part of the world but you could see fleeting glimpses of the the top floor fromthe passing A road and I also remember driving down a side country laneand looking in. The trees may obscure it more now.
The bloke who had it built is a complete to55er.
This link tells you a little bit more.

Yes, not a nice guy. Its the house that interests me. You could not doubt his ambition. Its just a shame what will happen to it.

I live a few miles away. There are quite a few very big houses in disrepair.
