Winter Weather 2011
Has anyone heard if we're expected to get a cold, snowy winter again this year?

Check out what the Metoffice say.............then do the opposite.
B@stards have fekked me AGAIN today. Had some work to do on the lad's Corsa, Metoffice site says clear all day, got soaked twice when it stair-rodded down
I HATE the metoffice, they are a bunch of thieves, they couldn't forecast a p1ss-up in a brewery

Of course
They can't get the weather right for the next day, so won't trust their forecast for a few months time.

I use Exactaweather,i have always found them to be pretty accurate
They predict that we are going to have a bad winter, snow as early as October. Extreme cold in Scotland and major disruption..
Have a read...

e.g. Winter tyres highly recommended oop north, less snowy days down south so we all play a numbers game on deciding to use them or not.

You've mentioned twice, in this thread, that Aberdeen doesn't need a forecast. I don't live in Aberdeen, as I'm sure many other other people don't. We might like a forecast.

The time frame for a accurate forecast is too far out.

You don't need any Meteorological doofa to know the weather - just ask speye91.
He got it just about bang on last year.

I hope it's either snow or sun. None of this ice/mush/rain rubbish.

I like your attitude to the Met Office.... feel the same way... why do they even exist as you would get a more accurate forecast by just guessing.
