Default taps for my kitchen

went to b and q to buy kitchen

inc in price was milan taps

one milan tap 160 quid, 1 was 60

un -surprisingly the 60 was out of stock and only available in 2 other uk b and q's in the country - who wont courier to any other location.

despite me spending several k's

i refused to pay the 160 as the taps are virtually identical

any idea where i can get taps for kitchen sink at decent price, in reasoanble time scale?

thanks

Screwfix, next day delivery, e-bay.

http://www.screwfix.com/c/bathrooms-...taps/cat820368

There are LOADS of sellers on e-bay, genuine stuff, also Google finds links, I bought a sink from e-bay, £109 delivered, Screwfix wanted £150, admittedly with all the accessories we didn't want, Wickes wanted £125.

City plumbing or Plumbnation, also Toolstation (google for websites).

Latter two are probably cheaper, but some City plumbing branches have showrooms (check the website to see where they are located), so you can see what you are buying. Which with taps is quite important as some really are shyte (o-rings went on my Gran's B&Q mixer after just three weeks! ).

www.mytub.co.uk are hard to beat on range and price, although their search engine is abysmally poor
