I've seen quite a few films recently.

Sarah's key - Very good indeed, although it is somewhat harrowing.

The Tree of Life - Very long, arguably a load of pretentious tosh. I thought it indulged in a few areas too much but worked as a kind of mosaic of emotions and imagery. Some people might walk out half way though.

Transformers - Crap

Planet of the Apes - Pretty rubbish really.

Watched that the other night, yeh wasn't too bad. It drove you round the bend a little at the start when you had to keep watching the same scene over and over again when he was going back in time for that 8 mins, coffee spilling on the shoe etc etc

Just watched Fast and Furious 5 (nothing to do the plane!) and actually enjoyed it!! Still OTT but good in a nostalgic kinda way if you know what I mean, they've mellowed out since the first one 10 years ago! Jordana Brewster hasn't aged one bit!!

Super 8 - Was OK and a bit of a homage to ET, The Goonies and Stand By Me

Cars 2 - Wasn't bad, Lewis Hamilton cameo was particularly wooden.

Source Code - wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be but worth watching

The Adjustment Bereau - Much much better than I expected it to be.

Unknown - If you like Taken you'll like this but Taken was better.

Battle: LA - Absolute dog turd of a film. This is supposed to be the better one of similar named films and it was complete garbage.

Limitless - Bit of a sleeper this one in as much as it was by far the best film I've seen for months.

Unstoppable - Really good runaway train action. I like trains so I'm biased

Saving Private Ryan - I know it's old but it was in Tesco on Bluray for £9 so worth a punt. Still very good.

Got Apocalpyse Now (Redux) to watch tonight on Bluray and probably going to watch Rise of the Planet of the Apes for Orange Wednesday. Although I like the idea of Cowboys and Aliens.

Drive angry........total rubbish
Butterfly on a wheel......not very well known, but pretty good ending. Gerard Butler.
Defiance......Daniel Craig...really good.
The A team.......so,so. Another dull remake.
