DVD commentaries
Almost better than the movies in some cases.
I find myself looking to see if a DVD has a commentary on it before getting it.
Just watched Basic Instinct with a commentary by some academic feminist; Surprisingly enlightening.
Some decent ones I can think of:
Bladerunner final cut - has three separate commentaries I think. I've seen the first two. Very good.
Alien Quadrilogy - I've seen the Aliens and Alien commentaries. I think Ridley Scott does the Alien one. In the Aliens one they have the cast. It's very good and amusing the way Lance Henriksen keeps trying to make everything about him.
American Gangster - That man Ridley Scott again - It's good to hear the thoughts of the great man.
Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift and Fast & Furious - excellent commentary from the Director. I had low expectations but he's surprisingly switched on and interesting.

My favourite is the commentary on Aliens - Directors Cut, has some of the cast chatting thorough the film with anecdotes. Put it on by mistake and ended up watching it to the end, commentary on - had me LOL'ing

If you fancy a laugh get Dog Soldiers, the cast and crew are pi55ed up and spend the entire film ripping the michael out of each other and the film, it's very very funny!
Always enjoy a good comentary meself, always add to the background of the film
