Default ive cried with laughter watching topgear before, but this is a first.

Really great to see this with the disabled squaddies, bought a tear to my eye when the engineer squaddie broke down.

Best of luck to them

It's humbling the way that they have just picked themselves up and found a new challenge, let's face it most of us whinge when we get man 'flu.

A real inspiration to us all.

Yep! You get more emotional with age (well, at least I do) and it took great control not to have a quick blub in front of the wife.
They've already won the Dhakar in my view.

I'm surprised they got Ben Collins back on board, but I loved the comments, calling him jilly cooper actually made me

Got me too, the monty python referances by the driver made me giggle. I with them the best of luck in the Dakar and hope they finish.

Great exposure for them and wouldn't suprise me if they now have an unofficial factory backing.

Really great to see the guys laughing and joking about what's happened to them yet a glimpse into the fact the horror never leaves you not of what happens to you but your mates .
These are the sort of guys that help for heroes support and that's why I've been trying to raise money on this site with a donation page so please have a look and donate as little as .25 p the page is defaulted to £25 pound but just click on the amount and you can change it

The army guys were amazing....... the Wildcat was pretty special too!

I think Ben Collins is still the Stig! The whole sacking business was just to get extra publicity & help him sell his book. Notice how there's been no more speculation in the press about the identity of the Stig since it all blew over............

Great programme. Think they've listened to the criticism that they just lark about? Been a few actual car progs in this series and it has been worth watching.

No sense of irony as May and Clarkson parked the electric cars in disabled bays though....

I didn't like it to be honest. I found it a big patronising to the servicemen, like it was making them children.

Yes, think this series has been good, thought that was not easy viewing, i.e. seeing young lads injured in the course of their work it was thought provoking and probably did more to bring it to public attention to anything else I have seen.

Why don't you show your emotions in front of your wife?

I have a friend who was in the forces (well i say forces he was a Captain in the HAC) -- his motto when faced with a tricky situation was "wind your neck in and get on with it" - and those guys were a testiment to that philosophy

it is also something that I often find myself telling my wife and kids

inspirational

Was a good episode. Some of those injuries were just horrific - certainly puts the way one deals with their own problems and issues in perspective.

Really hope they complete the Dakar rally!

Thinking on. All of the work shy lot on incapacity benefit should be shown this when they claim they can't work due to a funny feelign in their toe and asked just what they think they might be able to manage given a group of blokes with no legs can fix and drive a car.

Yes I wish them all the best and will be making a donation on the back of the program.

Although I have to admit I was waiting for Clarkson to finish the program on " and on that Bombshell" .......
