Default Posting a seat to the USA

Does anybody know of the cheapest way to send a seat to the USA?

I sold one in ebay at the weekend to a seller in the states but on the condition he sorted out the shipping. Now he can't find any kind of reasonable price and wants to get a refund (minus the listing fees).

The parcel will be 90cm x 70cm x 70cm and I guess will weigh 9.5 kg.

A parcel that size is just a bit too big to fit on a pallet, which is why the guy's been quoted the silly prices he has. The only alternative would be to find a freight-forwarding company offering to take it in a mixed container load, but that way it might take weeks to arrive, as the container won't budge until they've filled it, and it would obviously go by sea. Can't give you any names or websites, but it's something I've looked into in the past.

Cheers. Cheapest price I now have is £187.

Thought this would fit onto a pallet if i put the seat upright?

Still looking to try and get this price down. Delivery time os not an issue so all delivery options will be considered.
