we have a aircon unit at home that we use on hot muggy nights. it only comes with a short lenth of pipe and you struggle to get it to an area to vent out, now i was thinking of cutting a whole in a loft hatch and putting the pipe so it vents into the loft does any one know of any reason why i wouldnt be able to do this? the loft is insulated with about 2 foot of insulation.

Think you might find that you get mould and have to run a dehumidifier in the loft unless it's really drafty up there.
