Default Road/tri shoes for the bike

Had a gaerne pair ditched a long time ago , now need another pair - is carbon sole actually worthwhile ??

these seem reasonable

Got a set of Lake CX236Cs last week. Lovely and light and a complete doddle to tighten or loosen once on the move. Stiff Carbon Fibre sole is always a bonus. As with most road shoes order 1 size above to get a decent fit

Disco slippers - nice

Might be worth visiting a bike shop to get a good fit without repeat trips to the Post Office...

My mate has Diadora shoes (ex -pro) and swears by them light, comfortable and easy to do up for quick transition. The lower end Lakes don't get great reviews if not tri Mavic's which I have but you need try them on FIRST!
