One of the best films I've seen .. The bloody songs get stuck in my head though and I find myself singing them .. which clearly wouldn't end well for me if anyone heard .. especially as I'm a skin head ..
I watched this a while ago, quite a good film about white racists against black racists from a white racist point of view. Though I thought Ed Norton's conversion to a non-racist questionable, can a leopard really change its spots?

I think he, like a lot of racists, had it pummelled into him at a young age by his mentor. Some people do have 'epiphanies'. (I know, I know, its only a film!)
I love the scene where they are all sat around a dinner table, and Ed Norton goes off on a rant, pretty sure its all done in one scene. Brilliant actor when he is in the right films!

Its an awesome film, I love the way its filmed too!
On a different note, I recently watched Harry Brown. I thought that was equally as good if not better!!
Harry Brown was poor apart from Michael Caine of course.
It was just this account of estate life like as envisioned by some middle-class film student, and acted just a bit better than grange hill. It just didn't ring true and seemed fake.
