Stolen Mountain Bikes - Durrington, Worthing, West Sussex
Hi
Woke up this morning to find shed/summer house broken into and my and my girlfriends mountain bikes have been stolen.
Pics are below.
I know this is a total shot in the dark but if anyone see's or gets offered these for sale please contact me via email on: matpewsey@hotmail.com
The bikes are a Trek Scratch Air 9 and a Marin Palisades Trail. The Trek has a very high value and is pretty rare, so hoping it will show up somewhere.
Many Thanks

Ouch, how were they locked up?
I have been pretty **** about my new MTB and its actually kryptonite shackled to the roof rafters in the garage
It is a bit of a ball ache to lock/unlock the thing, and i am suspecting that the average bike thief would probably walk into the garage and not even notice it up in the rafters
The missus cheap hybrid bike would probably be took instead (just a simple hook on the wall for the front wheel)

Seriously, you would lock a bike to wooden rafters with a Kryptonite lock Would take all of a minute to saw a section out of the rafter and nick your bike. If you're serious about it then you need something cemented into the ground or at the very least bolted to the wall or floor in such away that it would be difficult to unbolt it.

thanks for all the support guys.
scene of crime officer was round the other day, found nothing, so the thief's knew what they were doing.
i have been checking the usual spots, but the Police think it would be stripped for parts or shipped out of the country.
