Just arrived in the post - Apple Tv :)
Been foing some research and it looks like we might even be able to get rid of the V+ box no as well as the xbox 360.

How will it rid you of Virgin? I thought it was mainly for rented/bought films and tv series.

Yes, it is mainly for rented/bought films and TV series... The same way that an iPod, iPhone or ipad is mainly for playing music/films or TV programs etc.
In theory when you Jailbreak said products you can (as far as I am aware) do so much more without the limitations of specific softwear.

Take a look at AirPlay. You can push Audio, Video and Apps to the Apple TV.

Yes. I never really used any of them for hardcore gaming. Not since I stopped staying up past 10 and smoking the green stuff.
