Default AV equipment stand

Hi,

I was thinking of buying this stand, but i needed something with doors.

you think i can make a door somehow for the front? to keep little hand out?

You could hinge it off the sides and use a magnectic catch. Not sure if you could get the typical glass doors to hinge off the glass surfaces.

Seems bloody expensive for what it is, we could make similar for a quarter.
One other observation, last time we manufactured stereo stands each tier was separated with a brass cone like foot sitting on a solid disc, the designer said it helped with vibrations and how the equipment ran.

Be warned that the Blok stands are incredibly heavy. Definitely a 2-man job moving one more than a few feet.

If I was shopping for something like this myself and I really wanted something with a closing glass front, I'd probably go for an Alphason ABR1100 instead though.

i was thinking i may need a stak 500..as the 400 maybe too small for all the equipment..

also have been offered this for £400..but i think it maybe again too small

Making a trip down to ikea this evening to check the Besta Vara range of cabinets..people say they are good for the price..
