Default Completely un Impreza related..

This is a bit random but I thought I'd ask anyway.

Ever since I was a little boy I have always wanted a set of night vision goggles. When I was a kid my parents were never in a position to buy me a set as they are quite expensive. I've always wanted a set and am in position to buy a set now, I want the proper ones.
Has anybody got a set, had a set or even know anything about them. I'm after a set that I can stick on and walk around in complete darkness and still see.
God knows what I'll use them for or even why I want a pair but it's just one of those things that I've always wanted and nows the time to satisfy that.
We all have things that we wanted as kids surely,

A version of call of duty came with night vision goggles and the latest Call of Duty came with a remote controlled car with a camera attached to it.... :-)

I know you said you wanted a "proper" pair but this could be a cheaper alternative..

A pal mentioned the call of duty ones to me also, I did a quick search and found a few sets for sale at under £100. Don't think they will be quite what I'm looking for at that sort of money. Could be wrong though.

The couple above look awesome but £2500 is quite a bit more than I wanted to spend. They are the dogs rude bits though by the look of them.
I was sort of thinking sub £500 could get me a decent set.

Was waiting for someone to say that, lol..

Don't worry chaps, it's not for stalking purposes. To be honest, I don't know myself what purpose they would have but it's just something I've always wanted.

Only buy the gen 1 stuff if you dont want to sell it on later as it wont sell, its range is also limited, gen 2 and 3 are much better but come with that hefty price tag

would think you could get a pair cheaper than that my old camcorder had a night vision button and could see in complete darkness (tried in the cellar) and that cost about £250 10 years ago so maybe a cheaper option may be better than you expect
