Default A day out for the kids - location within 20 miles of M40

We are taking the kids (4 and 7) to Legoland on Thursday, travelling down on Wednesday and staying over in a hotel.

Where can you suggest for a day out on the way down? Not Warwick Castle though - we did that last year and to be honest, may well do it during the summer holidays with Tesco Vouchers.

Thanks

Steve

Thought about that but is it not just full of old Leyland cars as a warning from history?

Woburn safari park at MK is probably a bit off your route, I can't think of much off the M40 worth visiting, Beaconsfield model village if you're really desperate!

Slightly more than your 20 miles, but I'd recommend Burford Wild Animal Park. It's about 25 miles from J8 on the A40, a bit less from J9 on the A34 and A40.
