Top of the Pops from 1976 ............. takes me right back to my late 30's.
When men were men, only poofs wore earings, women didn't have tattoos, men rubbed glasspaper on their cheeks not moisturiser, cars needed driving, Scooby was a ghost hunting dog!! .......... what a time that was!!

Men are getting a lot more poofy these days, it pisses me off.
Moisturiser - oh dear. The gay looking hair-doo that takes longer than the females to do.
Pink shirts - what the... (ok not such a new one but...)
Men should be men and leave that **** to the females.

I only remember from the early 80's,as i left junior school a decade later British Bulldog was being banned in schools we still stuck 2 fingers up to it and went on playing it,those polystyrene airplanes were also Banned, and Conkers was about to be Banned also This must of been when all this PC health and safety started to fester its way in.At senior school 12 yrs old i remember a kid selling knocked off tins of Lynx Deodorant,i think that was when it first came out,or it was the first time i had heard of deodorant ..Top of the pops i remember, also that other music programme that came on of a Saturday afternoon, can't remember its name..
As for being a man well i wasn't one then.

Anyway, re the muffs, yeah, remember hairy ones and baldies - think I prefer something in between.
Some great music in that time - Queen, Led Zep, Rainbow/Deep Purple/Whitesnake etc.
