Default This is so sad.

Hit home for me this, Greenwood is a place we have had acouple of lovely family days out, we have an 11 year old boy and I was imagining what this family must be going through, imagine coming home without him, going into his bedroom and its the usual tip, the half built toy gun, the broken up toy cars and he isnt coming home, totally you worst nightmare.

It is a shame, any loss of life usually is, but accidents do happen and whereas it is no consolation to the family and it looks (at this moment in time) it was just an accident it is a stark fact of reality these things do happen.

Jacko, I live just 5 miles from there. I took the kids there the day before it happened

I kept watching the people zipping above us and screaming in delight, but I wasn't going to pay the 4 pound per go. Plus I was too busy taking the kids around as it was mega busy!!!

They had people at both ends of the ride, looked well organized, even the harness they wore looked very safe.

Such a tragedy, I really feel for the family

Just yesterday we were at Sherwood Pines watching kids do this. Really feel for the parents. Would be devastating.

I live about 10 mins away from there too, very very said accident. Just hope it won't shut the place down as its made alot of people very happy going there. I've been there a couple of times years ago just after it opened and my sister has gone there quite a few times more recently and its always seemed very well organised.

The loss to the parents will be total - this will change their lives forever, the family will either implode or manage to get through it together ......... but their lives are never to be the same.

And so it happens the world over. There for the grace of god go I are the words which ring in my ears at times like this - I have known deep tragedy and you have to deal with the demons alone, no-one can do it for you.

Live life, kids, while you are young.

There was a group on Facebook for the little boy. A woman wrote on the wall saying that she did see it all as she and her son was behind the poor lad in the line She was saying that she hasn't had a wink of sleep and how it could of been her own boy.

Yet, can't imagine being in the parents shoes. A fun day out turned in to something so tragic
