Lighting up
Was soldering a pl- 259 plug on coax cable for the vhf antenna top my mast yesterday with portable bowtorch and didnt quite have enough hands .....
Anyway bit clumsy but knocked torch over and instantly i was engulfed in flames , whole top was alight !!
. Didnt stop me working - i sort of brushed it out
Its a 'Weird Fish' top ( name unimportant ) made of mostly cotton with polyester then viscose and something else as well
, I was a bit surprised have to say , does this mixture allways go up that easily ?

Has 4% acrylic as well i see .
Its just slightly singed all Speed king ( no top ) , no lasting damage - was just surpised it went up like that
