Hi
I bought some BP shares last year via my barclays share trading acct. BP are now paying dividends but how do I actually get the dividends?
Thanks

Thanks. No idea whether I opted for reinvestment or not!
I shall look into the account history when I get home.
DPB, not that bothered about not selling at the recent top, I intend to hold onto these shares.

By recent I meant a few months ago. Did you buy at this same top of approx £5??? Why did you do that then?
I bought mine at 317p, not gloating, just happened to have got it right for once!

Hi Ding,
I use Barclays too. The pay date for those dividends was the 28th of March. I received my scrip dividends (shares which come directly from the company itself) shortly after that date. Cash dividends should have been in your account on or around the pay date. Or maybe you have instructed Barclays to pay them straight into your bank account? I'm sure that's the way they did it for me before I requested to have them all reinvested.
