Default Selling a car on Ebay - if the buyer doesn't turn up?

I've sold my old Golf on ebay and being a little naive having paid Ebay 2 lots of listing fees of £8 each I then get slapped with £20 charge for accepting the offer of £200 (No MOT or TAX)

I thought the £8 was the only fee - silly me.

Anyway, the car needs collecting and I'm expecting the lad on Wednesday. My question is, if he doesn't turn up can I use the non-paying bidder issue to get my £20 back?

When we're dealing with £200, £38 just in fees is a f*cking pi55 take. Ebay really take a pi55 these days

The fee's are way to much now. You pay 10% of the final listing fee for most things on there. So sell a set of wheels and tyres for £500 and its £50 plus your listing plus paypal fee's if the buyer uses that and which I believe is part of Ebay. All in all a rip off.
