Up, up and away....
...in a beautiful balloon.
Tomorrow I shall be drifting at the mercy of the wind over the beautiful Lake District.
It was supposed to be my 40th present, but was cancelled due to high winds. Then I had it booked for Wednesday as the long range forecast looked favourable, but now it looks gash
Phoned the head office this morning and after some initial reluctance, they agreed to squeeze us in tomorrow when the forecast is very good

Bloody cancelled AGAIN ! Too windy. It was a beautiful day with barely a breath of a breeze, but that was in the valleys. I could see the clouds tramping by at a fair old lick
Oh well, had a nice lunch on the banks of Coniston, coffee at Waterhead, and dinner at a private resort before coming home
Need to re-book for the summer, hopefully with better luck.
