...and he's actually a VERY good driver. Jethro drove my STi around the Alpine track at Milbrook whilst I was in the passenger seat, and I was suitably impressed (to the point of being quite scared - in a "my car won't go round this corner that fast", "oh yes it will" kinda way!)

The non-stop bleeping in the video is quite amusing however!

Many moons ago I was driving a brand new 306 GTI-6. It had about 30 miles on the clock. It was the first car I had ever driven with a 6 speed box. Anyway, doing a reasonable speed and I decide to change down from 6th to 4th.... only I got 2nd... the white smoke out of the exhaust was very in an F1 blow up styleee. AA recovered the car and the bits of engine.

I always run through the gearbox now on every new car I drive just in case!
