Ouch! done that as a kid once. Bought myself 5 Wham bars. Pulled a tooth out from one side of the mouth, then bit the tooth with the other side. Put me off them forever, and that was on the first bar.
The short answer is Chlorhexidine Glucanate (Corsodyl).......the only licensed product to treat gum problems.
It kills the bacteria that can cause gum problems and does so by binding to teeth and the mouth (it's called substantivity) and killing the bacteria ..........the downside is that it stains teeth, causes taste disturbance and occasionally swelling of the face
All other mouthwashes have no therapeutic value in treating gum problems.
Mouthwashes that contain fluoride reduce the development of cavites but that's a different issue.
For the most part gingivitis / periodontitis is treated by removing the bacteria and deposits by daily cleaning and visits to the dentist / hygienist for regular cleaning .......
Need to see a dentist for correct diagnosis and treatment .........

Ha ha! got to try that when I'm back from the dentist!
We had a similar game with smints when they first came out.
You need to be driving in a car etc, The challenge is to see just how many smints you can get in your mouth at once, chew them, stick head out of window and take a deep breath!!!
