Cool Heads up, biggest moon for 20 years tonight

And I don't mean my ****!

There is a perigee moon tonight. At 1910 GMT, when it rises above the horizon, it should appear very large.

I saw one about 10 years ago driving to up the motorway, it was like something out of a sci-fi film.

Hopefully tonight will be worth a squint.

It looked fantastic in York. Almost clear skies just a few lines across the moon from the cloud

Yes,didn't look massive but incredibly clear here in the midlands.

Most impressive sight of the moon I have had in 40+ years!
